Freakiest Merman ever!

This has to be the freakiest and scariest interpretation of a merman ever. I found it on artistic thoughts blog and though it was so horrifying that I had to share! Doesn't it bring to mind the character "Mini-Me" in Austin Powers, or is it just me??

Talented guy!

I found this digital illustration when browsing through a site of an artist I discovered called Roberto Campus. Very talented guy! Apparently this was designed to be used as a cover of a book. Nice work Roberto! Visit Roberto's site!

Merman flirting

This interesting Bronze is called "Courting mermaid and Merman" Photos courtesy of Accentfurniture where it is also available to buy. Nice and heavy statue, ideal for the garden.. I wonder if bronze sculptures gather patina in the rain? Does anyone know?

Merman

The Merman has already traveled oceans and shores around the world. This photo shoot was on a quiet Mykonos beach (Mykonos for those unaware, is a stunning island that is also one of the hottest gay capitals of Europe - particularly in the summer!)

Introducing the Man with it all.. HM 'The Mermale'

The regular mermaid was a female ancient greek mythological creature that has kept an undefined place as some kind of a modern lifestyle diva celeb. No one really knows what mermaids do, apart from swimming around half naked. And they're still famous for that! just for that!? I realised that there must be room for competition in Mermalia. It also popped into my head that theres probably a little more room in the hall of fame of all-time mutated humanoids so this is my small contribution to modern mythology and humanity... (drum-roll) THE MERMALE!
